San Diego: Roz and Dennis

Recently, I had the opportunity to attend the wedding of two of our friends, Rosalyn and Dennis.  Now Rosalyn and Dennis both work with Michele and both of them have come to Vegas from San Diego.  They are perfect for each other.  One in yin and one is yang.  He is her Alladin to her Princess Jasmine.  Their only fault is that they are Charger fans (nobody is perfect!!).  Dennis has two boys from previous relationships and Roz has stepped into her new role (no pun intended) without skipping a beat.  From the stories that I have heard from Michele and the way I see her with them, she loves them as if they were her own.  I would have to describe the wedding as simple and elegant, with very little being overlooked (even the Lakers garter belt ....... I 'm still waiting for my baseball cap by the way!!!).

Although I was an invited guest, I couldn't be without my camera.  It is with this point, that I want to share a very important point.  Roz and Dennis hired a photographer.  My feeling weren't hurt.  No, really they weren't.  But the point is this, stay out of the photographers way.  They were picked for a reason and they are being paid, not you, the guest.  I had a quick discussion with the photographer hired for the occasion and she had absolutely no problem with my taking picture ..... as long as I didn't hinder her work.  This was fair, she was polite and I fel sorry for her as a number of other guest got in her way!! :-(   I felt for her and figured that I would share with you, her sentiment and for that matter mine as well.

OK.  I am of my soap box now.   I just had to share my words and now my pictures.

The brides shoes matched the feel of the wedding.  Really simple, but stylish!!

I ave always known Dennis to cool calm and collected.  This is the first I have ever seen him anxious.

Here is the new family during their unity ceremony.

A little humor always breaks the tension!!
